By Ken Bliss, President and CEO
FREMONT, Calif. — September 19, 2004 — Bliss Industries, the leader in SMT cart-based manufacturing, introduces three sizes of blue Static Dissipative Work Surface Mats.

The mats are comprised of a three-layer vinyl material designed for use on desks, tables and other surfaces in areas where items are susceptible to damage from electrostatic discharge. Additionally, the mats are available in three sizes: 12 x 18" to fit the standard 12 x18" tray cart; 18 x 26" to fit the standard 18 x 26" tray cart; and 20 x 27" to fit the standard 20 x 27" tray cart. . All mat sizes typically ship within four weeks.
Please call for pricing.
BLISS STAT, Static Dissipative Work Surface Matting, has been tested according to the EOS/ESD Association Draft Standard, “Standard for Protection of Electrostatic Discharge Susceptible Items: Work: Work Surface,” EOS/ESD-S4, Draft Jan 1988.

Also, the BLISS STAT work surface matting passes flammability tests because it is made of polyvinyl chloride with additional flame retardant additives that allow it to meet the FMV SS302 specification and to have a char diameter on the methenamine tablet test of no more than 0.5".
