SMT Resource specializes in support of previous models of major OEM equipment. Their cross-trained Service Engineers have the capability and experience to provide service support on mixed lines of equipment at the user’s facility. Dependent on scheduling, emergency services are also possible.
SMTR has the equipment and the capability to move manufacturing lines across your factory or across the world. SMTR provides professional decommissioning, equipment packing, reinstallation, and set-up with verification. These services include leveling, final assembly of lines of equipment, then ensuring proper equipment function and verification of connections to conveyors. Off-standard shift services and weekend work is available to minimize users downtime.
SMTR technicians are OEM certified on several major brands of equipment, including Fuji, Panasonic, Siemens, Universal, DEK, MPM, and BTU. We can train customers Technicians and Operators in their factory, which is a very a cost effective and efficient solution to improve user’s capability. SMTR can provide Preventive Maintenance programs whether just for SMT feeders or the entire factory, to meet uptime and productivity objectives.
SMTR can perform major overhaul of one piece of equipment or an entire line at an SMTR facility or in the user’s factory.
OEM's seem to be less committed to provide spare parts for older equipment and since SMTR has accumulated a large quantity of spare parts for vintage equipment, especially for Universal GSMs, Panasonic and Fuji they have made this stock of spares available on their internet website.
